Bonfire night at Mayer park

I made a small pram quilt for someone it came out very nice. becky

We drove 260 trying to miss the floods last week, going down to Hereford and down the M5 to Devon. The first day we went to Sidmouth

Then on to the donkey sanctuary

One Monday we went to Falmouth the day before the Tall ships arrived, but there was a cruise ship in.

The next day we went to Exeter by bus down to the Quayside had coffee in the Cathedral

Then took a bus to Dawlish

We went to Dartmouth by ferry the higher ferry has a very handy toilet block near the end of the queue. View of Kingswear.

We went to Lyme Regis

on the way home we stopped at  Laycock a village used in lots of costume dramas on tv
It is not far from Chippenham. We came home that way just 40 more miles going through the cotswolds.

Sunday had a Fete at Port Sunlight which was packed with people
The fountain  was full.

A wheel barrow race  took place

They had donkey rides

Today we went to the Welsh Mountain Zoo they had a penguin parade,

My brother and Gill took me to Liverpool to see Thunder Whitesnake and Def leppard here some photos.

It was a brilliant night.

At the start of June we went to Barmouth for the day
Had something to eat at Davy Jones Locker with a view of the bay.

Next after a WhiteSnake concert, awesome concert went to Stratford Upon Avon walked round the town and past the river.

The canal  boat was still stuck after the floods.

Next we went to Hull stopped at Clumber park on the way

we went to Whitby  for fish and chips, walked it off up to the Abbey
